New Update Has some issues keeping updates on tasks generated in old version

Love this application. I'm a really busy Director with too many projects so this has been a great experience so far!

I just upgraded to today on my PC and I'm seeing some strange update behaviors. When I update a task when in the search window or the inbox window the system will not keep the update.

I open the old task created in previous version thats still in my inbox.

I click the notes window

type in change

click outside the window and the change disapears.

Also verified this behavior when edits are made from the search window, no update but when I moved to the prjects window and launched the same task it took the update.

    I also confirmed this when assigning a task in the inbox to a project. It will not take the update.

    Let me try to troubleshoot this.
    When you say that you are checking for changes with 2 different versions of Conqu, are you saying that you are running 2 Conqu apps at the same time?

    What happens when you enter a new note and then you don't go away to a different part of the application but rather you just click outside the notes fields so that the field closes its "editing" mode? Does it also get replaced in that case?
    I'm asking this because it has been reported before (and I have verified it) that if after you make changes to a note you immediately go to a different section (by clicking on the main menu), it won't take the changes. This doesn't happen if you click on the Back button.

    If that is not the issue, then does the replacement with the old task happen after 5 seconds of the edit? If so, it would indicate that the task is getting replaced from the version on the cloud, and we can go from there so see why that is.

    Hi Laura.

    I have the new PC version on my laptop, that's the one I just updated. I
    have the BB application on my playbook and I did not do anything with that.
    Maybe this has nothing to do with the issue.

    When I start in the INBOX with an old task (previous version) I make a
    change and as soon as I exit the editing mode by clicking outside the box I
    can watch the new edit in the notes section disappear. No lag at all.

    Hi David,

    Thank you so much for making the video. I can see the issue clearly now.
    Interestingly, I haven't been able to reproduce it here in either Windows or Mac. Let me see what I can do.
    I'm not sure it will help, but you might want to try to re-install Conqu.

    Hi Laura, Just attempting to help, I will also try on my home computer just upgraded it.

    Love the app so far. Transferred everything to it! Hopefully it will hold up!

    Hi David,

    We have released a new version that should fix the issue of notes disappearing. When you open Conqu on your desktop, it should prompt you to download the update.

    Hi Laura,

    So far the app is working great from all my computers with no more issues
    with not being able to update. Thats important for me as I update during
    meetings as things change.

    Nice Job.

    I have another issue and can submit if I need to but it seems the email
    notifications are not consistent. I have several people on my team and some
    get the emails and other's don't. I messed up the ebtry for the emails
    first and then corrected them and those seem to be the ones that are

    I'm really happy about your application.

    HI David,
    We'll check the notifications. It is very much possible that they get confused when the email is changed/fixed.

    Hello Laura,

    Yes I have noticed that similar issue when updating tasks the updates in the body get lost. I have not had the time to figure out the steps that cause it. I think it happens when you assign it to a person before backing all the way out of the item on my play book. If I get some time I will pay closer attention.

    The email seems to be working better, my group members are receiving the emails and using the system now and it seems to work.

    Keep up the good work I like what you have accomplished.
